Extremely rare, large diameter Italian wood steering wheel. EFFPI was only in business for about 3 years, and to our knowledge, this was the only steering wheel model they made.

EFFPI wheels were original equipment on the Shelby GT500 and thus command $3k+ if Shelby-specific. Even new replicas are over $1k. EFFPI sold a handful of these wheels in the aftermarket before going out of business, mostly for Italian cars such as Alfa Romeos and Masteratis. Interestingly, this is the only BMW-specific EFFPI wheel we’ve ever seen (in person, or online). The 400mm diameter is perfect for a larger BMW sedan, such as the E9, E3, or NK.

Overall good original condition. Some minor scratches, flaking chrome, and significant cracking in the wood shows. Could be used as-is, or restore the wood and re-chrome the hub for a show finish. Included is the original early/serif BMW horn button and solid metal hub.
